Grace here. In a recent posting on a new political-cultural site TBD, one of the reporters covered Theater J’s season opener switch, from Deb Margolin’s “Imagining Madoff” to Willy Holtzman’s “Something You Did.” To do so, the reporter interviewed Holtzman with a series of questions about his play, and then came back to him with a second series of questions surrounding Margolin’s play. An early draft of this second interview may have inadvertently cast either one of the playwrights in an unfavorable position, but the factual inaccuracies in the first version have been corrected. The updated version is available here Both Deb Margolin and Willy Holtzman are great playwrights, unafraid to explore pressing issues, and whom Theater J respects very deeply.
